Dive Komodo About the Komodo Dancer Komodo Diving
    Komodo - North & South
Diving Komodo offers two distinct and varied underwater environments. During the south east monsoon clear warm waters flow from the Banda and Flores Seas creating pristine hard coral gardens and endless visibility on the northern sites..

In the south colder water from the Indian Ocean is more the norm. These deep ocean currents collide with the continental shelf causing upwellings that produce a vast plankton banquet for the areas larger visitors. These colder waters also produce markedly different coral colours too.

From November to April the south west monsoon is in evidence and these conditions switch around with clear and warm conditions on Komodo's southern sites.
