Diving in Komodo can sometimes mean diving in currents and there are certain items of personal equipment that are mandatory for safe operations. The Komodo Dancer carries SMB's (safety sausages), Strobes and Dive Alerts for you to use though it is recommended that you bring your own.

Oxygen Units and First Aid:
The main vessel carries delivery equipment and a large supply of O2. If there are guests on board who have training in O2 administration they are asked to identify themselves and are shown the location and correct operation of these units.

The Komodo Dancer is equipped with a comprehensive first aid kit for any cuts, scrapes, headaches and more as well as an AED (automated external defibrilator).
