These mythical beasts can grow up to three metres long and weigh nearly 150 kilos - easily capable of killing and eating a fully grown deer. On every Komodo dive trip we get to visit the island to see the largest lizard on the planet up close and personal, an awsome display of power and strength. Further afield we also find them on Rinca island where they can be seen menacingly roaming the beaches looking for food.
